Competition
I've just decided that the first person who comments on my blog, within 7 days I will take out for dinner. And if all goes to plan, nobody will check my blog, then I can take myself out for dinner!
Slacky McSlack!
So it definately has been along time since my last post, and I doubt anyway still checks (I couldn't blame them!). I think it's because anything I do is with all my friends so it seems pointless to talk about something that all be friends were there for.

So I'll try and give a quick update on my life....
1) have finally moved out of home!
2) passed my first semester of uni with flying colours (thanks Mel!), but now I'm completely over it and wish I could pack my bags and go to the snow fields of Canada. Alas, I have 4ish more years of uni!
3) got myself a permenant job at work, hooray for cushy government jobs
4) I'm currently in the market for a car, it's been almost 2-3 years since I have owned my own verhicle.
5) have been to one wedding and a hen's night so far, and think I have two more hen nights and weddings to go to this year. Yep almost all of my friends are getting married, which is fine by me cause that means I get free piss at their weddings!
And that about sums it up. I know I have properly forgotten something very signifcant but for the life of me I can't remember.

As for recently, I met up with a friend I had not seen since I was 12 on Sunday morning. I have to say I was suprised at how nervous I was! Seriously it felt like I was going on a date (and yes I still remember what a date is!). I was worried about what I should wear, and then should I be early or late, then it was what should/can/allowed to say. Then I was worried that I was swearing too much and might offend her. Now I'm sure people are thinking I was just being rediculously stupid and that might be true, BUT it's scary meeting up with childhood friends. You never know if they are the same person from what you remember or do you have anything in common or can even hold a conversation without those akward quiet moments (Oh man I hate those moments!). Anyway, it ended up being really good and we caught up on so much. We also shared a commmon fetish with Walt Disney movies and Harry Potter.

A day of boating, fishing and swimming in the !rain

I have to say that today has been one of the enjoyable & relaxing days for along time. Late yesterday I was told that Jo, Jason, Scott, Nick and I are hiring a boat and going fishing at Noosa river, naturally I went with the flow, no questions asked. So 8AM ON SUNDAY MORNING I was waiting at Jo’s ready to hit the coast. After an interesting drive to Noosa, involving punch buggies and midgets (don’t ask!), we arrived to a cloudy Noosa. Throughout the day, we managed to get stuck 3 times in sandbar, get the motor caught in seaweed and catch 1 fish, which happened to be too small to keep so we had to say goodbye. We also decided to go swimming in the rain, so whilst every other boat was driving away from the rain, our little pontoon was traveling towards the rain, but all the same the water was beautiful and we all had a good time.
The drive home involved the compulsory after-swimming-ice-cream, being stuck in traffic, falling asleep, singing, and falling asleep again. And when we arrived back at Jo’s we had hot chips and aioli (hanks Jason)! And watch Jo prove that she can do cartwheels, hand stands, and bridges, with the aid of Scott, but nice job Jo!

Thanks for a great day guys!!!!

Oh
By the way I have added some new pictures.
Hi Y'all
Well I’m back from my week in Sydney and it was good to explore another city again. I think that’s one thing I miss, the excitement of being in another city, and successfully navigating through it. Things I did while in Sydney:
Went to Taronga Zoo
Saw a Flamenco performance at the Opera House.
Went on a Hunter Valley wine tour
Shopping
Lots and lots of walking
Climbed the Sydney Bridge. (Yeah very tourist thing to do, but awesome!)
More shopping
Lot’s more walking
And I can’t remember anything else……I really need to do something about my memory!

So I’m back into the ho hum of work, it’s taking a week to get over my holiday! I swear I was like a bear with a sore head the past few days, just anti-social cause I was so tired. But it’s ok everyone at work knows Casey-sleep= non-talking Casey.

I’m due to start uni the end of Feb, I think orientation week is sometime before then. I think the only thing I’m looking forward to is getting a student card. Woohoo discount public transport and movies! I’m sure there are other advantages but none more important, unless I get discounted drinks………

Hmm so the next few weeks will be a bit of a drag, preparing for uni which involves cutting by weekly budget in half, so I can afford books fees and all the rest. So although I won’t be ‘poor’ I still can’t buy that dress I saw yesterday…unless I can layby!

I’m going to live forever, going to learn how to fly!
Well I’m due for a blog update, and thought I’d use my fabulous new laptop with which to type with. For those who have not meet my new laptop, his name is Lapsy and he’s the most beautiful laptop in the world! He also has a friend called Trap (Mouse that is!).

In addition to Lapsy, other news which may interest you all, I am now officially a university student. That’s right folks it may have taken me 6 years to get to uni, a trip overseas and some soul searching, but I’ve made it. I’ll be studying a Bachelor of Social Work for 4 years (YAY! 4 years of being a uni bum!). And when I finish I have plans to make the world a better place, I know that’s extremely idealistic and perhaps naïve, but a girl can dream…can’t she?

On other news, Jo and Jason had there engagement party over the weekend, and I don’t think words can express how much love I have for those two and how much I wish them every happiness in the world (Yeah I know bring out the violins!).

Next Monday Cinda and I are due to Sydney for a week of mayhem and mischievous hilarities! Wish us luck! On the agenda is a show at the Opera House, a wine tour to Hunter Valley, in a limousine now less, and a climb on the Sydney Habour Bridge on Australia Day. Now you can’t get more Australian than that.

Well that’s all folks!

Lots of love your way I send
Hmm, so it has been a while since my last blog entry, and I wouldn’t be surprised if nobody bothers to look anymore. Since I haven’t had anything too exciting occur to me over the last few weeks, I will speak of my plans for next year and beyond.

2007
January 12th 2007 I find out if I get accepted into the University of Queensland for a Bachelor of Social Worker. After 6 year of putting of Uni, I thought it may be time to plan ahead for my career.
January 12th 207 is also Jo and Jason engagement party, and what a jolly good time that should be.
January 22nd –February 2nd Cinda and I are spending 12 days in Thailand! HOORAY!
March (sometime) commence studies at UQ
August (sometime) Mel, Mitch and I are going to New Zealand for a skiing holiday!
December 31st 2007 New Years Eve in Sydney (hopefully!)
Beyond
I’ll have to get back to you on that one.

Hmm and I think that about covers it.

I’ll like to wish everyone a very happy, merry and safe new years! With well wishes and midnight kisses (I just made that up, man I’m good!)

See you in 2007!

The wonderful public transport system!
I’ve decided I’m not going to apologise for the lateness of my blog entry, you all know what I am like so just deal with it.

As most of you maybe aware I have the great pleasure of travelling on public transport to and from work, and as I gaze endlessly through my window, mindlessly listening to my music, wishing with all my might that work will give me the day of work with pay, I can’t help but have a strong desire to publish the official guide to public transport etiquette. This guide, classically titled ‘So you’re too poor to drive to work?’ will be a bible for public transportees. Containing commandments and expectations, which one should be made aware of before venturing onto Brisbane’s public transport system.

Commandment 1: Thou shalt not push in the queue. ESPECIALLY when there is obviously an orderly queue.
Commandment 2: Thou shalt not pay for a $2.10 fare with a $20 note. That’s just plain stupid!
Commandment 3: Thou shall NEVER stop every bus asking for directions! There’s this new fancy contraption called a phone, USE IT PEOPLE! Transinfo has been created to serve ONLY this purpose of enquiring about bus services.

As for expectations, WELL! I don’t know how much I can stress this to people, but for the love of god USE DEODORANT! I do not care if you have just finished a 12 hour shift, nor do I care if you have just finished a 2 hour session at the gym. I, nor does anyone else wants to smell your personal body odour.
May I also add that lazy people are STRICTLY prohibited from catching a bus for 1 bus stop. I understand that legs are actually designed for walking, so USE THEM!

In addition there are certain ideals that bus drivers should observe, such as:
A ‘EXPRESS’ bus is designed to arrive at a destination faster than a regular service bus. You may think that this is pretty self explanatory. BUT I have been a passenger on an express service bus which followed the same path as a regular service bus. Problem being that bus in front of us stop at EVERY BUS STOP! Thus we stopped too.
May I also point out that this is what the right hand driving lane is for, to overtake.

You may think I’m being a tad nazi-like with this rant, and I properly am. But I feel if everyone adheres to these commandments and expectations my life (and in essence everyone else’s life) will be that more pleasant.

Thank you for your attention – you may go now!

You may be right, I maybe Crazy!
Just to let EVERYONE know, I have had this sing in my head for the past 2 days, and granted it's a GREAT song, but when start unknowingly singing at work, enough is enough!

Friday night I crashed your party
Saturday I said I'm sorry
Sunday came and trashed me out again
I was only having fun
Wasn't hurting anyone
And we all enjoyed the weekend for a change

I've been stranded in the combat zone
I walked through Bedford Stuy alone
Even rode my motorcycle in the rain
And you told me not to drive
But I made it home alive
So you said that only proves that I'm insane

You may be right
I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for
Turn out the light
Don't try to save me
You may be wrong for all I know
But you may be right

Remember how I found you there
Alone in your electric chair
I told you dirty jokes until you smiled
You were lonely for a man
I said take me as I am
'Cause you might enjoy some madness for awhile

Now think of all the years you tried to
Find someone to satisfy you
I might be as crazy as you say
If I'm crazy then it's true
That it's all because of you
And you wouldn't want me any other way

You may be right
I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for
It's too late to fight
It's too late to change me
You may be wrong for all I know
But you may be right

You may be right
I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for
Turn out the light
Don't try to save me
You may be wrong for all I know
But you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right

Cronkin'
OK, so I did get a little ridiculous with not updating my blog. Not that I think this is going to be an acceptable excuse but,…..well actually I have nothing, so I’m sorry!

Here is my attempt at an informed update of my happenings;
• Attended Trav’s birthday bash, where Trav proceeded to get stupid (I think it was all that alcohol) and had a bit of rumble with a tree. In Trav’s defence the tree was totally asking for it! I was able to catch up with people I haven’t seen in a while and it was all good.
• Went to Burleigh Beach with Jo, Jason, Bonnie & Scott. It was a little too windy but the water was really nice, and any excuse to have fish and chips is cool with me! Oh plus we saw a couple ‘try’ to discreetly have sex on the beach, in board daylight, with children around! Seriously get a F@#*ING room! (Hehehe! Get it?!) The only thing they used to try and hide them was a towel! Some people are so stupid!
• Attended Bonnie’s birthday shenanigans’ at the Normanby. Good time was had but I doubt I’ll make it make to the Normanby, way to expensive. I don’t care how cool a hotel/pub/club is, $17.00 for 2 Smirnoff’s is NOT reasonable!! Considering I had brought a 4 pack for $14.00!
• Cinda and I have decided to have a holiday at Thailand in January. 10 days on beaches, visiting ancient temples, riding elephants and SHOPPING!
• Went to the Drive In at Yatala with Monica and her other half Scott and some of his mates. It was exciting to go to the drive in, but the movie kinda sucked. (Note: Don’t see ‘Departed’)
• Ohh I went rock climbing at Kangaroo Point and I made it all the way to the top!! My legs, arms and back are making me pay for the climb. (Note: This is why I AVOID doing physical activities!)

Um I think that’s it with events, maybe I have forgotten something…..oh for those who may not know, Jo and Jason are engaged! So Yay for them, Jo has a website if you want to check out more lovey dovey details http://joshome29.spaces.live.com

On a very random note, I’ve decided to make a new word and implement it into everyone’s vocabulary. CRONKIN’! Yep it’s used as a positive descriptive. For example, after a great night out – ‘Last night was cronkin’!’ You may think I’m weird and need some medications and you maybe right, but believe me I’m determined to make this work popular!

Tra La La La La
Ok, so what’s happening in the world of Casey…well not too much. Let’s recap.
Monday to Friday (of last week) was work, and it seems the longer I’m at my job and display my competence, the more they seem to give me. In one sense it’s good, cause it means that they obviously want to keep me long term. Yet on the other hand I have SO much work that if I’m in meetings all day or sick (like I was yesterday) I just have a backlog of work that just seems impossible to catch up on.
So Friday was the NRL Semi-final at Jo & Jason’s and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the game! Saturday, um nothing, Saturday night was my mum’s birthday dinner at Pancho’s! (Mmm panchos!) After dinner I caught up with Cinda and her sister and we went to the Oxford 152. This was the first time I went and I have to say that it was alright, definitely not worth the price they charge for alcohol, but I had a good time. We actually ran into an old high school friend, some of you properly know him, Chris Delucy..ring any bells?? It was good to see him after all these years and he was telling me of his overseas planned adventures. And thinking about it now, gives me itchy feet, if I could I’d go back overseas, and make more of it this time. Go EVERYWHERE! See all the places of the world I didn’t get to see last time. Athens, Venice, Paris, New York, Prague, Croatia. To be honest, if I had the money I’d book the next available flight. I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever make it to uni, or if I’m destined to float through life, not really having any plans, just enjoying what the world has to offer. Well I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see, I’m just as anxious as you to see what the next thing I do will be.
Anyways, back on track….. Sunday was catch up on sleep, my Mum’s birthday, more sleep and the 2nd Seafood Sunday. We had more people this time, I’m hoping that we’ll get to a point where EVERYONE will come and we can make a huge day of it and catch up with old mates. Actually open invitation to anyone who wants to participate in the next Seafood Sunday, it’ll cost you $10 and properly be 22nd or 29th October. The only unfortunate aspect of the weekend is I woke up on Sunday, voice less. It hurt to talk, drink, eat and swallow. (My saliva for anyone who had their mind in the gutter!) It wasn’t much better on Monday so I had to call in sick, which normally I wouldn’t mind, except as a temp I don’t get sick pay. So to make up for that one day off, I’m going to have to do about 9 hours a day, to make up the difference in pay.
Well I think that’s it, I’m going to have a look on the net of all the Beautiful places in the world, that I know one day I’ll be visiting!
September 22
Up to my eyeballs!
Do you think if I were to built of fort around me with all the files that are piled at me desk, that people will think I'm unattainable and stop giving me work??
September 11
All growned up!!
Apologies for being a slacker! I'm feeling a little sentimental, so be prepared!

Well I had a good weekend, scratch that I had a great weekend! Saturday my mate Nay had her Hen's party. OK so I have known Nay ever since first day of grade 1, so that's a hell of a long time. WE were pretty much inseparable, and although we don't get a chance to see each other that often (due to her being a successful HEAD Chef - at the age of 23) we have, well I feel we have, one of those friendships that feels totally comfortable. Like those old slippers that are old and grubby, but are so comfy that if they ever did fall apart, there would be a tear shed. Hmm maybe comparing my friendships to old slippers isn't the best idea, but hey you get the idea. So anyway, it was her hen's night, and it was a great night, of fun, laughter, dancing, oh so yummy food and of course alcohol.
Nay's wedding is on Saturday, and the whole idea is just tripping me out. The marriage bit, and soon there'll be pitta patta of little feet, and so forth. I suppose the whole 'grown -up' aspect just trips me out. Part of me, well most of me still acts and feels like a carefree teenager, just without the high-school dramas, bitchiness and stupidity. The idea of marriage, mortgages and babies is slightly frighten to me. I fear I'll never be able to afford the house that I want to turn into a home. I'll never find 'the one' (that's such a cliché!) but the lucky guy that I'll want to be with till the end and visa versa. And most of all will I be a good mother, actually will I be able to have kids! Seriously! Who knows if I can or can't and I won't find out till I try. And then what will the world be like when my babies turn into teenagers? Will I have taught them enough to make good decisions, or when they make mistakes did I teach them to learn from it, not just give in. Will I show them that being, accepting and loving who you really are is the most important lesson in life? (Unless you’re a knife welding maniac who has a crazy foot fetish!) My theory is that if you can't love yourself, then how do you expect other people too?!! Will I push my children out into the world, and encourage them to live it, or will a wrap them in cotton wool and ohh and ahh over them when they get the tiniest graze (for the record I'd HATE to be one of those parents!)
I've always felt that you have control over your life, that there really isn't a great divine, or written destiny. Life is what YOU make of it, and those waiting for destiny are too scared to make their own decisions. And as much as I think I know where my future is heading, I can't control other elements. I can't make someone fall in love with me, I can't make that 4 bedroom, polished wooden floor, French door, huge deck Queenslander within my budget and I can't 100% control my children. I'm not really sure where I'm going with this, and I'm fully aware that my thoughts aren't very cohesive, I suppose I can fine tune that when I go to uni.
Yes, after 6 freaking years, I am finally deciding to actually go to uni! HOORAY! It takes me a long time, but I eventually get there!
Oh and I've decided to go on a skiing holiday to New Zealand next year, so anyone interested, let me know!
Hmm I think that's all for now, I could ramble some more, but I'd just confuse the hell out of you and me!

Oh - CONGRATUALTIONS NAY! Can't believe this time next week you'll be Mrs Browning!!! Love ya lots!
August 28
ARRRGGGH!
Ok guys, here's the problem.
I have 29ish days to think about and decide upon a career and apporpiate course, so I can apply for QTAC. The problem being I HAVE NO IDEA! I thought of giving up the succesful career thing, moving to nimbin and becoming a hippie, but Jo said I wasn't allowed to. So any ideas as to what my new career should be, anything that means little work/effort and lots of money would be great! :D
Just a question....
Is there anyone willing to update my blog on a regular basis for me?? They need to be able to make my life sound full of excitement, fun, adventures and romance....any takers???
August 17
I've just been so busy!
Well I had been getting some rather abusive messages to update my 'DAMN BLOG', so I'm to try and make this extra long to make up for my slackness!

So that last time to wrote I was heading off to the races for my birthday, and I have to say I had an AWESOME TIME! And I'm pretty sure so did everyone one else. It was soo much fun to get all pretty and hang out with mates. The weather was beautiful, which meant some of my peeps got a tad sunburnt. All in all I think I it was a great day, even the getting picked up by my mum and being put in bed! What can I say, I'm a lady! :P

What else have I done....I've went to Cameron's Birthday bbq, and caught up with some more people. We couldn't stay long, but it was good fun. Oh and Happy Birthday Cameron, even if it was 4 weeks ago!
I've spent alot of time over at Jo's and Jason, so I finally have taken over my own blanket, sheet and pillow, before they know it I'll have moved in, left my clothes all over the place, and disappearing everytime rent is due! Speaking of rent, I'd like to send out 'snaps' for Cinda who has FINALLY moved out of home, and brought a shiny new car, all in the same weekend. Hooray for CINDA!

Well this week at work has been so busy, so it was good to have the Ekka Wednesday off, although it was pretty much a wasted day, cause Cinda, Nat and I went out on Tuesday night and had a GREAT FANTABULOUS night!! It was sooo much fun. It's times like these I really love being home, I still get goosebumps when I see fabulous views of the city, or go over the story bridge every morning.

This weekend is pretty hectic too, Friday night is Monica's and Scott's B'day dinner, MMMMMM PANCHOS-ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT!!! Nice one Mon, oh and HAPPY B'day for yesterday! Saturday is another b'day party, and sunday is either lying in the sun doing nothing, (cause it's a predicted 27 degrees - I LOVE AUSTRALIAN WEATHER!) or making some people come to the first ever 'Seafood Sunday'! What's that you say, well I was going to buy some fresh prawns and crab and mussles, go to the comslie reserve and chill out, whilst making an absolute pig of myself! Mmmm seafood! Man I heart food so much! No worries of me developing an eating disorder!

Ok well I think that's it, I have heaps of photos to post, but I have stupid dial up and it takes FOREVER, so you'll have to wait!

Happy Birthday to me!!
Just wanted to thank everyone who sent me birthday wishes! I had such a lovely day, even though I was at work. Although I did get some yummy cookies and chocies and a gift from work, I have only been there for 2 weeks!
July 31
I HEART MY FRIENDS!
I had such a fabulous weekend!! It was just one of those weekends that I'm glad to be back home and really appreciate the mates I've got.
Saturday was basically a real girly day, the types I had when I use to be 16 and was able to spend hours at Carindale with my ladies, talking, shopping and being totally comfortable with the people I was with!
Funny enough the day started at Carindale, where I was told for my B'day everyone chipped in some money and was buying me a new dress for the races. (Although I already had a pretty good idea, cause Tasha isn't the slyest of people!) This worked out fabulously, because I had just seen a dress on the Friday afternoon that I totally fell in love with. (Yes I do fall in love with inanimate objects! At least I know they will never leave me!)
So we (and by we I mean Cinda, Jo, Tash and Moi. Unfortunately Monica couldn't make it.) wondered about Carindale, taking notice of many 'mutton dressed as lamb' situations.
We headed to Queen St, because that's where my FABULOUS dress was waiting patiently for me. The rest of the day was spent finding HOT dresses for Tasha and Cinda. I'd like to give a big virtually hug to all my mates who were involved in by pressie. Cinda, Jo, Jason, Tasha, and Monica (As far as I'm aware that’s it - but if I haven't mention you SORRY) THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!

Sunday Jo, Cinda, Nay, Greg (Nay's man), Scott and I went to the Broncos game, and it was just such a lovely afternoon, and the company was great!

It still amazes me that after soooo many years of being mates, I still have things to talk about. I feel totally comfortable with saying whatever I feel like, and I know my mates will be honest when I seek advice or opinions. To give you an idea of how long I have known these people, here's are the results: I've known Cinda since grade 1, that’s 17 CONSECUTIVE YEARS!!!, oh and Adam, Tash, Manda and Nay are included in that category. (GOD I hope I haven't forgotten anyone!)
Since grade 8 it's been, Jo, Monica, Jason (Well he was grade 10, but I won't hold that against him) Nee, I suppose Travis can be placed in there too. So that’s....10 years there.
Then there are a few special people who I have totally hit it off with, and I have to give a shout out to MELAMIE!!! I haven't known this chic for the longest but I have some AWESOME memories and can't wait till she comes home!!!
Oh and I suppose I should mention Ed there somewhere, although, technically it would only be a sympathy mention!!!

In all seriousness WE are going to have the greatest time on Saturday!!

HOORAY FOR BIRTHDAYS!!!

P.s. If anyone asks, I'm 22 :P

New Photos
I have put new photos up of the race day and the broncos game! Enjoy!
July 25
Horsies, Races, my cousin and the Cops!
I thought I'd start with the formalities and ask everyone how their weekend was? Before I start my story of the weekend, cause I bet yours won't be as "interesting" as mine!

It all started with my cousin (who shall remain nameless - but we all know who I'm talking about, and if you don't his name is Jason:P) coming down from Townsville for the weekend. Now I had already made plans to go to some fancy house in the mountains with Jo, to get drunk and have a merry time, but with family visiting I cancelled. Little did I know that my parents and cousin had made plans to go the races at Ascot. WITHOUT ME I might add! So knowing this, I then made plans again to go to Tasha's house, to watch some movies and do the girly night thing. (This was planned for Saturday night) Saturday morning, the day of the races, my family lets me know that they have a spare ticket to the races for me. So I have to cancel my plans (AGAIN JASON!) at the last minute, to go to the races. And if you're thinking that I should have declined, would you have declined FREE box tickets, all you can drink and EAT???!!! I didn't think so!

The majority of the day was pleasant enough, I actually really enjoyed hanging with my folks, something I had always been embarrassed of doing, (stupid teenage anxieties!). So all was well, we headed off home, mum went to get the car, and I walked to the front gate, thinking Jason and Natalie were right behind me. Mum pulls up in the car, and we are still waiting for Jason and Nat. A phone call later a (slightly) intoxicated Nat informs me that Jason had been arrested, yes "ARRESTED"! In a span of about 20 minutes, my lovely cousin was able to get himself in trouble with the boys in blue. That has to be a record of some sort! My first thought was 'this is such an inconvenience!', actually that was pretty much my entire feeling on the situation!

About 1.5 hours later, we eventually arrive home, for me to discover that I had caught a cold (who really wears warm clothes to the races??!!) and felt like absolute crap! I think I was asleep by 9pm! I woke up the next morning, still feeling like death warmed up, so my, majority of Sunday was spent in my pj's, going through a box of tissues, and having my nanas secret recipe. Well I don't think it's a secret, I think all old people know it. It involves fresh lemon juice, honey, hot water and brandy, and it taste like HORRIBLE, but it seemed to do the job.

I think I'll end it there, oh and if you were wondering if I won anything at the races, every horse I backed, came 2nd last! Maybe choosing a horse based on the pretty colours isn't such a great way of winning money.
July 20
GO ME!
Just like to make an announcement.....I HAVE A JOB!
After weeks of searching, handing in countless resumes, I can finally say I am no longer unemployed! HOORAY FOR ME!
July 19
Poor Brit!
Ok so I'll try to keep this quick, cause it's about Britney Spears and her knob of a husband, (SERIOUSLY BRIT WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!!) I was told about this webite and thought it was quite funny.

www.divorcekevin.com

When your husband has his own 'hate' site, you know to drop his country bumpkin, trailer wigga ass!
A guilt post
Ok so I was reading everyone else's blogs and thought 'Hmm maybe I should update mine' So here goes.....

So I'm still umemployed, but I have an interview about a job that I REALLY REALLY REALLY want, so I expect positive thoughts from everyone! Although unemployed I ahve still been keeping my social life quite busy. Over the weekend I meet up with Nat, an friend that I meet through my cousin, she had moved donw to Bris-vegas 3 months ago. Last time I saw her was when Cinda and I went to Sydney and that was a while ago, so it was good fun catching up. On Saturday night, went out for dinner at Panchos (as far as I'm concerned they make the BEST BREAD EVER!) Ohh and I also had panchos for dinner on Friday night. And then on Sunday night, a few of the girls went to Nay's place to play 'Atmosphere' and eat pizza. For the count that's pizza 3 nights in a row!
It was good fun, and I'm glad us girlies were able to get together, just like being back at high school (a scary thought). It's comforting to know that somethings in life will never change, and I feel my friendships will be like that.

On the 5th August I am going to the Doomben Races for my birthday, It's a great excuse to get all prettied up and well drink cheap piss! So I look forward to seeing atleast some of you there! :D

No job and money make Casey go something something.....
Ok, seeing as I am posting this on the World Wide Web, it's offical, I AM BORED SHITLESS!!!
I've been home for 3 weeks, and looking for a job for about 1 week. And although I have only been job hunting for 7 days, it still dosen't take away the fact that I'm moping about the house with nothing constructive to do. I can only clean my room so many times, before there's nothing left to clean.
It didn't even take me this long to get a job in 2 different countries, yet when I get here, NOTHING! Ok I'm going to stop now, cause if I don't I'm crying to get myself in a state of Casey depression. These states don't last very long, only till I go shopping and buy something shiny......Oh got no money so that's going to be a while.......I think I might start dressing like an emo now......

Stupid computer
After finally deciding that I should put some new pictures up, my stupid computer is taking AGES! So there are some new ones, but you might have to wait till I find a computer that doesn't take forever!
Me so poor!
So what’s happened in the world of Casey?

Well I’m still unemployed and only now, as my money is dwindling away that I think I should actually start searching for a job. So I’m hoping by next week I will have a job, don’t care what it is, but I’ll draw the line at trolley gal!
Last Monday Cinda had the day off work and we were supposed to go to the movies, somehow we ended up at the Cannon Hill Bowls Club having $3.50 vodkas. I’m not entirely sure how that came about, but if any figures it out, let me know. So by Monday afternoon we had wondered down to the Comslie (or the Scumslie as the locals call it) hanging out with an old boy that we had picked up at the bowls club. (Who says bowls clubs never have hotties?!) I think I was fast asleep by 9 O’Clock that night.

Last night we went to the Victory, after playing a drinking game at Jo’s for about 2 hours. You would think at my age I would learn to wear appropriate shoes when I’m on the piss, well you would be wrong! My feet hurt so much now, but pain is beauty, or is it beauty is pain? The Victory hasn’t changed one bit, I suppose the only comment to be made is that as I get older *shudders at thought* everyone else gets younger! I wonder where the hot 20 somethings actually go, cause it’s definitely not at the Victory.

I probably have more exciting things to speak off, but the state of my brain tonight, you’re lucky you’ve gotten anything off me.

Hey Y’all

Apologies for lack of blog entries, I really have no excuse. So to update you all I’ve been home for about 8 days and here’s what I’ve done so far:
• Stuffed my face full of bbq’s at every opportunity, I heart meat!
• Stayed at Jo and Jasons place about 3 times already, watcha gonna do about it! :P
• Been to the beach and walked barefoot on the sand. It’s such a great feeling knowing that the beach is only a drive away, as opposed to a flight away.
• Had a gut full of pasito, twisties, milo, and tim tams!
• Watched the soccer, and was thoroughly disappointed. Thanks Mel for making me care!
• Umm had to clean my room, don’t know how that happened considering I haven’t lived in it for 12 months?!!!
• Went for a drive!! Hey that’s exciting for me!
• Went to Carindale, hmmm nothing changed! Still teeny boppers everywhere!

But here’s stuff I still want to do!:
• Go to the Victory and buy a jug of vodka Sunrise! I’m so classy!
• Go dancing!
• Go to Oxford st
• Go to the Victory
• And other stuff that has escaped my mind

I’m actually not sure what I’m supposed to write about, now that I’m no longer overseas; my grand adventure is over O-V-A-H! Maybe I need some suggestions!

I still call Australia home!
Greetings from Tingalpa! Not very glamorous but its home. After a shitty plane trip home, 12 hours from London to Kuala Lumpur sitting next to 2 screaming kids who kept throwing tantrums. Fun for me! Then another 6 hours, trying to get some sleep only to discover that those damn kids were still within ear shot. Grr! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate kids, but the flight is bad enough, let alone adding not one but two screaming children. I should have just gotten drunk and passed out.
So I arrived to a warm welcome from friends and family, and then there was Jo who almost knocked me over. Anyone would have thought it was the first time in 12 months that she had seen me! I settled home easily enough, its nice to know that my family hasn’t changed one bit. Whilst I’ve matured, become more wise in my travels, a stable person
:-P my family will always be exactly how I left them, with one exception, my 14 year old brother is now officially taller than me! That Bastard!
So in the 2 days I have been home, I’ve cleaned my room (what joy considering I hadn’t lived in for 12 months..I wonder how that happened?!) gone out for dinner, went for my first drive (that was scary) and woke up at 4.30 on Friday morning to watch the soccer. I have Mel to thanks for getting me involved in the Brazil vs Australia match, so I had to watch the Croatia match (Damn you woman! *Shakes fists*) But I have to say I was screaming, with excitement, anticipation, frustration and elation when Kewel (I think that’s him) score the second goal for Oz.
Anywho, today I’m off to get stuff sorted for my Bbq, funnily enough I’ve been informed that the bbq we were suppose to use is now broken, so we have no bbq for my bbq. Minor detail :D
